I haven't heard Jaheim's other albums yet, but I was interested in this one because of his duet with Keyshia Cole. That song (I've Changed) is my favorite on the album. I really like his first single, Never. My other faves are Have You Ever An Lonely. There are a lot of slow and midtempo songs, and there aren't fast songs. It makes the album boring. There are two bonus tracks, and one of them (Roster) is a fast song, I really like that one.

Five singers, Alanis Morissette, Brooke Hogan, Lil' Mama, Natasha Bedingfield and Keyshia Cole are featured in the January issue of Allure Magazine. The got makeovers. I think Keyshia, Natasha and Alanis look great after the makeover, but Brooke's and Lil' Mama's new look isn't that good.

This video is from my favorite comedy show here in Hungary. They organized a karaoke show and this guy, called David performed "We Are The World". He imitated the original artists' voice and he did it extremely well! He's very talented. =)

I'm very happy that I could do a mini interview with Asia Cruise. :) I did it yesterday on MySpace and she answered very quickly!
I started singing around the age of 10. It's funny because I was actually training to become the next big gymnast. And I had one injury to many, and my mom was like, "That's It, You have to find something else to do." So, that summer, she was looking through the paper and saw an article about a singers camp. I went for the two months, and at the end, we showcased two songs that we had worked on. I'm guessing my parents were just stunned. Because, Singing was never something I wanted to do as a career, so it's funny how all this came about. And, I loved it from then on out and we just started doing local shows and 7 years later, I land a record deal. It's still so surreal to me, but I'm enjoying every bit of it!
2. Do you write your own songs?
I do write my own songs. I have co-written a few on the album. But, the songs you hear out right now, I have not written any of them. I did write a couple lines on "Step, Step". So, definitely give that song a listen!
3. Who are your biggest inspirations in music?
Well, Beyonce is one of favorite artists to look up to. I also, love Fergie, Gwen, Chris Brown, Maroon 5, Janet Jackson, etc. I take a little bit from all of them and create a style of my own. To me, they're just the all around package. That's kind of how I want to be represented as an artist. I can sing, dance, and act. And also, to be a postive role model. Something everyone can relate too, whether your 10 or 27. You can enjoy my music. That's very important to me. So, that group of people really influence me to take myself to the next level.
4. Please tell me something about your upcoming debut album. Is it done? Who has worked with you on it?
We are still working on the album. T-Pain and the Cornaboyz have written most of the album. We do have a couple of surprises on the album. I can't say yet, but I'm hearing those supposed to be a couple of big timers working on the album. So you'll just have to wait and see!
5. Which is your favorite album or song at the moment?
I'm really lovin' the Chris Brown record right now. My favorite song would have to "I Wanna Be". That song is amazing!

Here's Ashanti's new single from her upcoming album "The Declaration". It's a midtempo R&B track. It's quite good, but it isn't better that her latest single "Hey Baby", which sounded like "Last Night" by Diddy & Keyshia Cole (that was much better that Ashanti's song).

5 questions is the new feature of my blog, where you can read my mini-interviews with artists. The first artist is a very talented singer and songwriter, Wynter Gordon. You may know her, if you visit my blog often.
1. When did you start writing songs, and singing?
I've been singing since I could talk and writing since I could spell! lol- no but seriously I've been working towards this goal since I was very little. I think I really started taking songwriting seriously when I was 12 years old.
2. Could you tell me something about your favourite songs on your upcoming album?
My favorite song is a song that I wrote when I was 15 years old called "Daddy's Song." It's a song about my absentee dad and what I would say to him.
3. Last year you were on tour with one of my fave singers Keyshia Cole. What was it like?
That tour was really hard for me because it was a real grind, the traveling was fast paced, and no one was at the show to see me. Of course they came to see Keyshia Cole, who is amazing. So to try and warm a crowd is tough and then we weren't getting soundchecks (so my show was the soundcheck). It was tough but it taught me what to be prepared for and I appreciate Keyshia Cole giving me a chance to get on that tour.
4. Who would you like to work together (write songs or sing a duet)?
One of my favorites is Jaiden, I like Ryan Tedder's stuff, and I like Ryan Leslie. I'd also love to write with Keri Hilson, Linda Perry, and Kanye West.
5. What is your favourite song at the moment?
hmm! I have so many....I love the "Apologize" record from One Republic, Snoop's "Sexual Seduction", I love Jordin Sparks' entire album....too many to name just one...sorry.
I just want to say thank you for taking the time to interview me and even caring about my music! Be Blessed!
