This week the idol contestants performed Inspirational songs because of the charity event, Idol Gives Back.
My top 3 were Syesha, Carly and David Archuleta, my bottom 3 were Brooke White, David Cook and Kristy Lee Cook (I can't believe she's still here).
Last year after Idol Gives Back no one went home (but after that week 2 people were eliminated), but now, Michael Johns was voted off. I think he should've stay a bit longer. I didn't always like his performances, but I think he's talented and he's a good rock singer.
I've thought Syesha would leave, but I'm really happy that she stayed!!! Next week there'll be Mariah Carey, and I think her songs fit Syesha very well, so I really hope she'll stay next week as well.
And I really hope that Carly will chose good songs in the future, because with good choices she can be in the top 3 in my opinion.
The next eliminations should be Kristy, Jason and Brooke, because they're so boring... David Archuleta is boring sometimes as well, but I know he won't go home, because the little girls love him so much.

Brooke White - You've Got A Friend

Brooke has a nice voice, but this performance was boring... 6/10

Carly Smithson - The Show Must Go On

I love this song, and Carly sounded very good on it. Finally she chose a good song. It's been my favorite performance by her so far. 9/10

David Archuleta - Angels

This is one of my favorite Robbie Williams songs. The performance was good, but not that extremely good. It was a good choice. 9/10

David Cook - Innocent
I like David, but this performance wasn't his best one.. The song was quite boring, and he didn't sound good. 6/10

Jason Castro - Somewhere Over The Rainbow
Jason is talented, and this was an interesting performance, but it's not my style... 7/10

Kristy Lee Cook - Do It Anyway

The song was quite good, but I still don't like her voice. 7/10

Michael Johns - Dream On
I liked this song, and it was a good performance in my opinion. Not the best that I've ever heard, but good. 8/10

Syesha Mercado - I Believe

Syesha is my favorite contestant now, and I really enjoyed this performance. In the beginning of AI7 she wasn't any of my favorites, but I think she is better every week. 10/10

Group performances

Please Don't Stop The Music

I really hate this song by Rihanna, but the idols sounded good on it. I liked Syesha's, Carly's and David Cook's solo parts.

Shout to The Lord

This group performance was beautiful, the top 8 sounded great together!

Seasons Of Love

I didn't like this song, but they sounded good again.
