World of Melodies

This week the idol contestants performed songs by Mariah Carey. I think some of the should've chosen better songs... I didn't really like the top 7 performances.
The two Davids were great, especially Cook, but I didn't really like the other performances.
I'm happy that Syesha stayed and Kristy finally went home!!! :D

Brooke White - Hero

It's a beautiful song, but it's a bit boring for me now. And Brooke's voice doesn't fit Mariah songs. She sound better on country songs. 7/10

Carly Smithson - Without You

I love this song, but the live performance of Carly wasn't the best. I like her studio version better. 8/10

David Archuleta - When You Believe

David chose a very beautiful song by Mariah & Whitney, and he performed it very well. I liked it. 9/10

David Cook - Always Be My Baby

The chorus of this song is so catchy! I loved this rendition! The songs sound good in this rocky style. It was my favorite this week. 10/10

Jason Castro - I Don't Wanna Cry

He's still soooo boring! He's voice is nice, but I don't feel he's style. He should go home next week! 6/10

Kristy Lee Cook - Forever

I didn't like it, Mariah's songs don't fit Kristy... I'm glad she finally gone!! :D This performance was annoying for me, but it wasn't that bad. 6/10

Syesha Mercado - Vanishing

You know, that Syesha is my favorite, but now I'm a bit mad at her! She sounded beautiful, but I think the song was kinda boring. She should have chosen an upbeat song like Dreamlover or a recent hit Don't Forget About Us or We Belong Together. 8/10
