THE NEW TALENT OF THE MONTH
Who?
Asia'h Epperson from American Idol 7. She's a 19-year-old girl from Joplin, Missouri, who auditioned in Altanta.
She was voted off after the 3rd round of the semi-finals (and I think it was way too eraly!!). She sang Piece Of My Heart (Janis Joplin), All By Myself (Eric Carmen, Céline Dion) and I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Whitney Houston) on the show.

Why?
Because she was my favorite AI contestant this year! I was so sad when she was sent home... I almost cried. But now I can say, I'm happy, because I've got to know this amazing singer. I know she will be a star one day. She's very talented, has a great, big voice, good musical taste: I loved all the songs she sang, and she said in her exit interview, that she would've sung Joss Stone, Keyshia Cole, Alicia Keys and Mary J. Blige... And she looks like a star! I really hope someone offers her a record deal, because she deserves it! I'd really love to hear an album by her!

Who?
Janet Jackson. She's is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, dancer, and actress. Jackson is one of the top ten selling artists in the history of contemporary music; ranked by Billboard magazine as the ninth most successful act in rock and roll history, and the second most successful female artist in pop music history, selling over 100 million albums worldwide.

Why?
She's just released her new studio album, Discipline. I've never been a big fan of hers, but I like that album and I quite like her. I think she deserves to be the artist of March.
She's made big things in the music history, she is successful, she has released many albums (10 studio albums so far), has many hits... She doesn't have the biggest voice in the industry, but she makes good music, and she's a great entertainer.
