THE NEW TALENT OF THE MONTH
Who?
Asia'h Epperson from American Idol 7. She's a 19-year-old girl from Joplin, Missouri, who auditioned in Altanta.
She was voted off after the 3rd round of the semi-finals (and I think it was way too eraly!!). She sang Piece Of My Heart (Janis Joplin), All By Myself (Eric Carmen, Céline Dion) and I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Whitney Houston) on the show.

Why?
Because she was my favorite AI contestant this year! I was so sad when she was sent home... I almost cried. But now I can say, I'm happy, because I've got to know this amazing singer. I know she will be a star one day. She's very talented, has a great, big voice, good musical taste: I loved all the songs she sang, and she said in her exit interview, that she would've sung Joss Stone, Keyshia Cole, Alicia Keys and Mary J. Blige... And she looks like a star! I really hope someone offers her a record deal, because she deserves it! I'd really love to hear an album by her!

THE ARTIST OF THE MONTH
Who?
Janet Jackson. She's is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, dancer, and actress. Jackson is one of the top ten selling artists in the history of contemporary music; ranked by Billboard magazine as the ninth most successful act in rock and roll history, and the second most successful female artist in pop music history, selling over 100 million albums worldwide.

Why?
She's just released her new studio album, Discipline. I've never been a big fan of hers, but I like that album and I quite like her. I think she deserves to be the artist of March.
She's made big things in the music history, she is successful, she has released many albums (10 studio albums so far), has many hits... She doesn't have the biggest voice in the industry, but she makes good music, and she's a great entertainer.

I can't believe it! :( My absolute favorite Asia'h went home. :'( I'm very very sad. And Danny! Yeah, he has a very interesting style, but he has a very good voice. And Kady! Kady has a beautiful voice, too. I hope all of the can make it as a singer. I believe they can do it!
Oh, I didn't mention Luke. He finally went home. :) I wanted him to leave 3 weeks ago.
I'm not happy with the top 12 at all. I don't like Amanda's voice and I think Kristy and Brooke are very boring... Asia'h, Alexandréa and Kady should be there. The boys: I'll miss Danny. :( But I'm happy for Chikezie. :) I thought he would leave.
I think David Archuleta will win this competition and Ramiele will be the runner up. That would be a good finale, I really like both of them. David is a very cute, and very talented boy, and he already has so many fans. Ramiele is a very nice girl with a big voice. She's my fave after Asia'h. I think Asia'h got voted off, because she, Ramiele and Syesha are similar singers and many people prefers Ramiele. But I liked Asia'h better, her song choices were the best! I can't believe she's gone. :( I wish all the best to Asia'h, Kady and Danny. :) They are very young, and talented, they all can make it! But I'll miss them. :( I'm very disappointed... 

My "top list" after this horrible elimination show is:

And finally, watch the final performances of Asia'h, Kady and Danny. I loved their performances at the show, but these were even better. :) Asia'h and Danny were fun, Kady sang beautifully.

Amanda Overmyer - Hate Myself For Loving You

I liked the song, but I don't like Amanda's voice at all. 6/10

Asia'h Epperson - I Wanna Dance With Somebody
I really loved this performance by Asia'h! She picked a great song and she performed it very well! It's my fave performance by her so far. 10/10

Brooke White - Love Is Battlefield
Brooke is very talented, but I think she's a bit boring... 6/10

Carly Smithson - I Drove All Night
I really like Carly, she's my 3rd favorite girl (after Asia'h and Ramiele). I liked this performance. 8/10

Kady Malloy - Who Wants To Live Forever
I really like Kady. Her voice is beautiful, but I don't like the fact that she always choses slow songs. I hope she won't go home and she shows us next week how she sings uptempo songs. :) Anyway , I liked this performance very much, it's a beautiful song. 9/10

Kristy Lee Cook - Faithfully
She can sing, but I don't really like the songs she choses and I thinks she's a bit boring... 6/10

Ramiele Malubay - Against All Odds
I love this song, and Ramiele did a good job. 9/10

Syesha Mercado - Saving All My Love For You

This one was Syesha's best performance so far. I really liked it. 9/10

I think Amanda and Kristy Lee should leave tonight.

I like Chikezie and this song, but I think it wasn't the best choice. He could've done better, but it wasn't bad. 7/10

Danny Noriega - Tainted Love

I liked it, it was good, but nothing special. It was a great song choice. 8/10

David Archuleta - Another Day In Paradise

David was very good as usual. I love this song, and he sang it beautifully. And he played the piano! 9/10

Luke Menard - Wake Me Up Before You Go Go

WATCH the performance!
This is a very good song, but I just can't stand this guy's voice! 4/10

Michael Johns - Don't You Forget About Me

Michael is very talented but this performance wasn't the best. The end of it was really good, but the first part was boring. 7/10

IMO Luke Menard and Jason Castro should go home tonight!

Album review: Cheri Dennis - In and Out of Love

Cheri is active in the music industry since 1999, and finally she released her debut album, "In and Out of Love". It's available via iTunes since November and now she released it physically as well.

IMO it's an average R&B album. There are some very good songs, like "I Love You", but some of them are a bit boring and they are too similar.
I don't say she isn't good, but I think she should've done better after that long work with this album.
If you like R&B music, give this album a listen, you'll find some good songs on it!

Album review: Janet Jackson - Discipline

I've never been a big fan of Janet, but I always liked some of her singles. Everyone so excited b/c of this album, so I thought I should listen to it.
At 1st I didn't like her 1st single, Feedback, but it has grown on me, and it one of my faves now.
The best song IMO is Luv, but I really like 2Nite, Rollercoaster and two slow songs Never Letchu Go and Greatest X.
I would like So Much Better, too if there weren't that "helium" voice.
I think it's a pretty good album, so not only the biggest fans of Janet will like it.
