This album was released 7 years ago, in 2001. It's Mikaila's only album since then. It's similar to Christina Aguilera's debut album. It's full of nice teen-pop tracks and Mikaila has a very good voice.

I'm not a big fan of pop, and teen-pop isn't my favorite at all, but if the singer's voice is good, I might like it. Mikaila sounds really good on the tracks, she's very talented, she could sing R&B as well IMO.
The only hit song by her was So in Love With Two, that isn't the best track on the album, but I like it. I think I've heard it back then when it came out, but I'm not sure...
The 2nd track is and uptempo song as well, Forever, for Always, for You is slow, and it reminds me of Christina Aguilera's early ballads. Playground is a catchy uptempo pop track. The other songs are good as well.
My favorite track is Emotional, that I've heard by Swedish singer, Agnes first, who covered it in 2005. I love that track by both girls.
There's only one problem with this album. The songs are very similar, and it makes it a bit boring.
I don't know what happened to Mikaila, but word is that she's gonna be back to the music industry and release an album in 2009! I hope it's true! She was only 14 when this album came out, and she sounded great back then.

Monica is one of my favorite singers. I love many of her songs.

Everytime The Beat Drops and A Dozen Roses are good tracks, but Sideline Ho is even better! I love the lyrics and the sound of the song.
Why Her is my favorite track on the album. It's very catchy and it's a very nice mid-tempo track. I absolutely love this kind of songs!
Doin' Me Right is a very good track as well.
My Everything is the most beautiful track on the album. Its a slow, melodic, catchy song, and R&B classic! It's a very simple, but beautiful love-song. A classic Monica track. She sounds beautiful.
The other songs are good as well, but those aren't my favorites.
I really like this album, it's very good, but there are some weaker songs on it.

Keyshia Cole is my favorite singer, I usually love every song she sings.
I was amazed when I 1st heard this album. I really loved her debut album as well, but she has improved a lot since then. Her voice and her style has matured a lot, but she's still the same girl.
Let It Go, the 1st single off the album is a great upbeat song. At 1st I didn't like it that much, but it has grown on me. Didn't I Tell You is one of the best songs on this album. It's a great song, very rhythmic, a club banger, that should've been released as a single. Fallin' Out is one of my fave KC songs ever! It's so beautiful and cathy. I just love her voice on it and the melody of the song. I Remember is the "Love" of Just Like You. It's like "Love" on her 1st album. A beautiful, painful ballad. On the 2nd single, Shoulda Let You Go Keyshia introduces her best friend, Amina, who raps on the track. I was addicted to the track when I 1st heard it, but now it isn't my biggest favorite. But I still like it. The 4th single, Heaven Sent is a beautiful track as well.
Was It Worth It is one of the best KC tracks IMO. It reminds me of Alicia Keys. I could imagine it as a single as well.
Diddy's track, Last Night was my favorite song in late 2006 and in 2007. It's a great club song!
I really love the iTunes bonus track Trust. It's an amazing mid-tempo song, the sound of it is similar to Fallin' Out. It should've been an album track not just a bonus.
The international deluxe version of the album features the singles and the best track from KC's debut album "The Way It Is" and the original version of "Just Like You". That version is great for those, who aren't big KC fans, but want to get to know her.
I think every R&B fan must have this album!

Prima J are Mexican-American cousins Jessica and Janelle Martinez. Their 1st single was Rockstar that was featured on a soundtrack. I remember that I checked out that track back then, but I didn't really pay attention to it. Then I've heard their 1st single off this album Nadie (No One) that's the Spanglish cover of Alicia Keys' hit single. I love Alicia's song and I love Prima J's cover as well. It's my fave song on the album. There should be more Spanish songs on it!
The 2nd single Corazon (You're Not Alone) is a nice track as well.
The majority of the album is uptempo, but there are some mid-tempo songs as well. I like almost all tracks of the album. Leftovers is a great, catchy song, Inside Out is a slower jam. Girlfriend and Boom are a bit weird, but I like them. Flip The Script and Homework are mid-tempo tracks. I like both. The only tracks I don't really like are Chilosa, that is a bit annoying and Infatuated that is a bit boring.
I like their style, their sound. I think they are a very good new group! Check them out! I'm a Prima J fan now!

BAD NEWS: Unfortunately Michelle Williams' 3rd solo album, "Unexpected" has been pushed back 'til October 7th.

GOOD NEWS: The 2nd single is "The Greatest"! It's official, the source is her myspace blog! I love that song!
"Hello Heartbreak" will be sent to the dance radios. I don't really like that track, but dance fans will like it and they'll get to know Michelle! And that's really good for her.

And finally here's a newly leaked track by her: "Lucky Girl". We've already heard a live version.

Lucky Girl - Michelle Williams

I think too many track leaked from the album... :( I don't listen them too much, I'll listen them when the whole album will be out.

I've just done an interview with my favorite new artist, Karina Pasian.

I've asked her about her upcoming debut album "First Love", about other artists and her future.
Two singles "16 @ War" (now she's 17 @ War :D, Happy Birhday!!) and "Can't Find The Words" are out now, and the album drops on August 19th!

If you haven't heard her music yet, make sure to check out her Official Site and MySpace page!

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

1. I've read somewhere that you can sing in many languages, and I've just heard the Spanish version of "Slow Motion". I love songs in Spanish and I'd love to hear you sing your songs in different languages. Did you record any other songs in more languages, or are you planning to do it? "Can't Find The Words" in Spanish would be really hot!!
I can sing in 7 languages and I didn't record songs in other languages for this album but I plan on doing songs in other languages so that when I go overseas I can just sing songs to them in their language....I think that would be pretty cool....lol

2. Who are the artists/producers you've worked with on our debut album? And who do you want to work with in the future?
For this album I worked with The-Dream, Tricky Stewart, Ne-Yo, Lil Mama, Carlos McKinney, Gordon Chambers, Cool & Dre, Bryan Cox, Sean Garrett, Eric Hudson, Troy Taylor just a lot of great people....and as far as future artist I would love to work with Brandy, Rihanna, Beyonce, Stevie Wonder, and any dope rapper....maybe my brother....lol

3. Many people compare you to Alicia Keys and the say that you're the new Alicia. What do you think about it?
As far as being compared to Alicia Keys I don't take any offense to it, I mean the girl just went four times platinum so it doesn't bother me at all, I've gotten used to it and as a new artist coming out people are always going to compare you to someone...but at the same time I want people to get to know who Karina is and you definitely will on August 19th when my album First Love drops....

4. The majority of the songs we've heard from your debut album are ballads or mid-tempo, only "Baby Baby" is an uptempo track. Will be there more upbeat songs on the album, that people can dance to in the club?
Yea Yea....I have a song on my album called 90's Baby and its a up tempo song, its a real dope song the drums on it is crazy so look out for that as well, but I have a nice blend of songs I got up tempos, mid tempos, I got the infamous "Slow Motion" so its a well rounded CD....lol....Kids watch out ya parents might try to take ya copy....tell them to buy there own!!!...LOL

5. You're only 16 years old, and you'll be still young 10 years later. Where do you imagine yourself in 10 years?
Im 17 now....so in 10 years I will be 27...duh, But I picture myself as a multi platinum Grammy award winning artist, I plan to have an organization where I give back to countries such as the Dominican Republic which is where I am from, doing movies, making sure my business is good and start writing and producing my own music as well as get into the fashion world....I love accessories, so I plan to come out with a line of fashion jewelery and accessories....healthy and well and just making sure my family and everyone is straight!

The Lilyjets are 3 Norwegian girls, Kine, Lisbeth and Tinki. Their music is based on their vocals, well composed harmonies and the acoustic guitar (Tinki). Their debut album, "3rd Floor" was released in 2006. 4 singles were released from it: "Going Blind", "Crave", "Don't Let It Go To Your Head" and "Perfect Picture (It Would Be Better)". You can watch the music vids on YouTube. Now they're working on their 2nd album. The 1st single from it is "Song For You".

I uploaded one of my favorite songs, "Don't Let It Go To Your Head" for ya'll.

Maria Haukaas Storeng is a Norwegian pop singer. She gained national recognition in 2004 for her participation in the Idol reality television series, and then again in 2008 as Norway's representative in the 53rd Eurovision Song Contest, where she performed "Hold On Be Strong". I really like that song, and I saw some of her Idol performances on YouTube, and those are very good as well.

She has released 2 albums so far, the 1st one is "Breathing", the 2nd one is "Hold On Be Strong". Both albums certified Gold in Norway.

You can download one of my favorite tracks, "Mine All Mine" feat. Mira Craig (another Norwegian artist, she wrote "Hold On Be Strong"). The track is on Maria's new album, and it may be the 2nd single from it.

T.I. - Whatever You Like
Whatever You Like - T.I.

This track is T.I.'s 1st single from his upcoming album, "Paper Trail". I'm not a big fan of him and rap music, but I like some of his tracks and this one is very good as well!

Ciara feat. Ludacris - High Price

"High Price" is the 1st single from Ciara's upcoming album, "Fantasy Ride". When I 1st heard it I thought it was very weird, but now I like the track. It's sound is very interesting.

Ne-Yo - Miss Independent

This is a new track from Ne-Yo's upcoming album, "Year of the Gentleman". It's rumored to be his 2nd single from it. It's a nice track, not my favorite, but good.

Kandi - I Know

I Know is an unreleased track by ex-Xscape member, Kandi Burruss. The song was recorded in 2007. I really like it. I hope she'll release a sophomore album soon or she releases one with her new duo PeachCandy (Kandi & Rasheeda).

Angela Simmons - Center of Attention

This song is a promotional single for Pastry. Pastry is a shoe line by Angela & Vanessa Simmons. Angela isn't a singer, she studies fashion at a university. Her father is Joseph Simmons, who has a reality show on MTV. Angela doesn't have a big voice, and I don't think she'll be a singer, but I like this track.

I introduced 6 talented new singers: Jazmine Sullivan, who's a really talented R&B singer from the USA, Dondria, who sings R&B as well and began her career on YouTube, Elisabeth Carew from Norway, Kim Davis from Canada, Camile Velasco, who's a former American Idol contestant and an R&B guy, Young Steff.
Last week ya'll could vote for your favorite. And the winner is....

Unfortunately her debut album, "Split Personality" was shelved. Some tracks and snippetts leaked from it, and I really like them, and Mila's unique voice. I don't know any news about her, but I hope she'll be back soon!

Keke Wyatt is an American R&B singer. She had more popular duets with Avant, but her solo songs haven't been successful, yet. Her debut album "Soul Sista" certified Gold, but her singles weren't succesful at all. Her 2nd album, "Emotional Rollercoaster" was shelved and now she's working on an album, titled "Ghetto Rose" that has been pushed back last year. I really hope she can release that album!

I love her 1st album, and her newly leaked tracks are really good as well. I like her voice, her songs and her style very much.

I've never been an Ashanti fan, and I've always thought she can't sing. I've never really cared about her and I haven't heard any of her albums yet, except this one and her Xmas album.
The 1st single, The Way That I Love You is a kinda good track, but I don't like that she's screaming on it a lot. Anyway, I can hear that she improved vocally. But she doesn't have to scream to let us know that she can sing...
Body On Me is a kinda good track as well, it's a nice summer song, but I think Akon sings too much on it, and his voice is annoying.
Mother is a very nice ballad dedicated to Ashanti's mom, and we can hear that her voice has improved a lot! She sounds very good on this song and on the next track, Shine, too. That song is a bit boring, but nice.
Hey Baby (After The Club) was released as a promotional single, and it was to be the 1st single, but it was cancelled. Now it's the international bonus track of the album. The song is produced by Mario Winans and is very similar to one of his another productions, Last Night by Keyshia Cole and Diddy. That's why I like it. I prefer the KC & Diddy song, but this one is very good as well.
I like Good Good as well. It's not a big song, but it's catchy and I kinda like it. It isn't the best track on the album, but it's one of the good tracks.
So Over You is one of my favorite tracks on the album, and I kinda like Your Gonna Miss, too. Girlfriend is an interesting track.... I like the melody and it's catchy, but I don't really like the sound.
These track are that I like, the others aren't that good. Anyways, I didn't expect this album to be this good.

Debelah Morgan is an American R&B singer, who has released 2 albums, but had only one hit single, "Dance With Me". That song is really hot and she has a wonderful voice! She should've been much more successful. I have her latest album "Dance With Me", that was released in 2000 and there are many good songs on it. Since 2000 I haven't heard anything 'bout her... :( I really hope she'll get back to the music industry!

Here are some songs and song clips by her:
